Explore Our World

Immersony's journey began with a question: Why don’t children today connect with Indian Classical Music as deeply as we’d hope? Watching parents introduce their children to traditional arts, only to see the children struggle to connect, inspired our mission to rethink music education. What if we could teach music in a way that is relatable and engaging for young minds? Immersony was created to make music something children feel, not just learn. The program's appeal soon extended beyond children, resonating with individuals of all ages and backgrounds who longed to experience classical music but weren’t sure where to begin. Many adults were keen to explore this beautiful art form but lacked the means to truly appreciate it. This sparked the creation of Immersony's music appreciation series for adults, designed to offer guided, accessible ways to connect with and enjoy classical music on a deeper level. Through innovative storytelling and experiential learning, our curriculum brings Indian classical traditions to life, weaving in global influences and inviting people of all ages to find joy and meaning in music. At Immersony, we believe anyone can discover a love for music when it’s taught in a way that speaks personally.

Surabhi has been invited to offer courses on Hindustani music and world music at IIT Hyderabad under the aegis of the Creative Arts (CA) programme. This programme, run by the Department of Liberal Arts for undergraduate students at IITH, aims to expose young minds to the richness of art and culture both within and outside India. Hundreds of students have taken Surabhi's courses and responded enthusiastically. At IITH, we look forward to continuing our engagement with Surabhi as we seek to expand the CA programme
